Here are some more pictures from last Friday's felucca ride on the Nile--thanks to the campus-wide fast wireless connection, I can finally upload more than one picture at a time.

More soon. Meantime, enjoy.

It's interesting how the boats are stripped down, but covered by this skeleton of woods. It's like you're riding in Hemmingway's great fish.

Wow how beautiful! We may not leave you a message everyday but we read the blog everyday. Your writing is so discriptive it feels we are right there with you!
One comment on the clippers Bob went thru a few sets before he got the good ones - WAHL. Try 'em...

By the way - i just found airfare from NYC, ground transportation and lodging for 6 nights in Cairo for 1199 (plus the fees of course). Can you believe it? Budget Travel is awesome!

By the way, my English is great, isn't it? All of the other comments were very well written, guess you can tell I'm from Manchester. By the way, Dan took me to Manchester Friday night (surprise Birthday visit) and we had a blast. Stayed in a bed and breakfast which was the house I use to live in. EERIE!!!! I will tell you about it sometime.
